Indeed, I have the 1.4 16v 100bhp version and it is certainly packs a punch especially as it's just as fast as a lot of 1.6's such as Ford Focus's and Vauxhall Astra's.

Its good to see another 100bhp 6n2!! Thats how mine started out as and have made some major changes to mine over the years since owning it. I've got a 1.4 16v and mine is quite noisy but seems to be running fine. I've heard this is normal and like Alex said it can get louder with age.
