Do the new style of sports pedals fit the 6R?

I've seen that there's a new style of metal pedals for the 6C, they have larger black areas than those available on the 6R, does anyone know if they would fit on a 6R?

Thanks!

Re: The Blue One

Awesome photos!! Nice choice of alloys, I have Knights on my red 6R, pleased they're still offering them on the 6C.
The shot of the headlights make the light look a really nice blueish white - what bulbs are you running?

Game over then :(

I don't have Xenons myself, but would these be the right type for those with them?

Re: Anyone tried LED indicators in a 6R?

I emailed the company to see if they could confirm whether the LEDs would work in a Polo 6R ('12 plate to be exact) and they said that they didn't know as none of their customers have ever tried it.
They advised me to buy one to check but warned that they "cannot take them back if they have been ...

Re: Anyone tried LED indicators in a 6R?

98octaneblood - I don't think the look of the units I linked in my original post would be obvious in the 6R/6C as the design of the indicator section of the headlight is quite enclosed around the sides of the bulbs where the yellow squares are. The front of the bulbs seem to have a lens which should ...

Re: Anyone tried LED indicators in a 6R?

Yeah I agree they're not the best looking when they're off, I've got SilverVisions in the front currently - they do look good. I just really like the clean on/off flash of the LEDs.
The LED units aren't an amber colour when they're off at least, plus the design of the headlamp unit means the look of ...

Anyone tried LED indicators in a 6R?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has tried any of these LED indicator units in their 6R:

Re: Leather steering wheel retrofit

Cheers for the replies everyone,

I'll keep an eye and ear out for any SEL or Bluemotions being broken up for spares, thanks for the tip :)

That cover does look pretty good, Avatar X do you find that it slips at all?

If the GTI and MFSW have different airbags its probably not worth it, but I'm ...

aaronon, thanks for the advice, I actually have that silver insert already, just really want the leather too now

Gewoonjan, ah I see, thanks for clarifying :) so as its a VW part, do you think a dealer would fit it? Guess there's no harm in asking my dealer ...

Leather steering wheel retrofit

Hi,
Please forgive me if this has been asked already, but the only other posts I could find were about retrofitting a MFSW.
I have a 12 plate 1.4 Match and would really like a leather steering wheel, I couldn't spec one when I ordered due to needing it fast and there not being one in the country.
I ...

Re: New 2012 Flash Red Match - new bulbs and bodywork adjust

Ah I dont atm mate, I'll do my best to take some tomorrow, hopefully on an unlit road so you get the full effect, but to be honest, if its white/blue light and brightness you're after, the Xenon Ultimas won't come close to HIDs, they're decent bulbs, and better than stock, but they are still a bit ...

Re: New 2012 Flash Red Match - new bulbs and bodywork adjust

Thanks :) Haha yeah I know! After a bit of complaining and sending photos of the problem to them they have booked it in. Just before the adjustment warranty expires too  So hopefully it will be sorted. Ah thats lucky, my local VW is okay, you just have to be persistent. Ah the Navarre alloys ...

Re: New 2012 Flash Red Match - new bulbs and bodywork adjust

Thanks a lot Jimbo :) Yeah I did buy brand new in May, think I will call VW and arrange for them to fix it. I'd heard good things about VW quality as well, the used Polos on the forecourt of the dealership seemed to have far smaller shut line gaps and the panels seemed better put together, ditto for ...
