TBH, despite the claims made my VW in their advertising, I think 40-45mpg is about right for general mixture of commuting and occasional motorway cruising. its a bit spot the difference on the Blue GT, mine is a year old this week and done 18k and have to admit in no rush to replace and would probably wait for next gen

Seems I have lost the Blue GT to my wife having only driven it for two miles in the last month, she seems to like pottering around in it and is loving the fuel economy and the proper Bluetooth integrated to the RCD and seems to be running well on the winters, she hated my 500 so testament to the car...

well the Blue GT has now done 9,500 miles so had its first service today, no issues, when i took my alloys off the VW centres were a bit poor on the clip front, just swapped them and gave me the originals back as they said dealing with VW was a PITA given they had not removed them etc when i went to...

i did a real mix of driver but in reality the GT is bettering my previous 500TA which you did have to drive like a saint
