Hi there I have just brought a new engine to go in my 6n2 polo. It is the same engine that will be coming out due to being run dry of oil.
It is engine code AHW.
I'm pretty confident with changing the engine over but not sure about the imobiliser. I fear I may have a problem when I come to start ...

Ah fair enough that's a bad idea then. Lol. Any idea of a cheaper engine that will fit? I'd prefer the original AHW engine although they seem to be very expensive. Does anyone know if the 1.4 8valve engine code AUD (or any other)for the same year polo will fit with minimal changes to the loom ...
