None, although the exhaust is not fully centered with the bumper cut. The cut on the bumper is enough for two exhaust pipes... and not one (that's what the TDI90 has).

Bumper upgrade to GTI
Hi!
My mum's Polo suffered a rear collision and we asked for a GTI bumper instead of the standard one.

It's a straight fit, and it looks really good.

Re: RCD 310 to RCD 510 anyone?
I've done it.
Just take the radio surrounding plastic, 4 or 5 torx srews (T20 I believe), take the radio out, put the new one, srews and plastic on.
Probably less than 10min... Assuming you have the code for the new one, it will work immediately.

Re: which wheels to get?
I'm planning to migrate my Montreal II wheels I have on my Beetle into my Polo.
I've painted in a dark grey metallic. In the end it should be like this:

These are 16".

I've used quite a bit. I've install it on a Seat Ibiza, VW Golf VI, Volvo S40, BMW 1-series and Seat Altea, without any issues.ubiquitous-j wrote:Nice polo. Got anymore info on the Electromagnetic Parking Sensor?
There are a few on the web for sale. I've used a brand called Proxel (italian).

Do you have any photos of the result? Is it too low? Or it just gets stiffer?

Re: Silver '11 Polo 1.2 TDI
Hi.
My wife is complaining that the Polo is way too bouncy on corners.
What do you recommend? I could probably install the sport coils (get the car a little down and a tiny harder). What do you think?

I love those wheels. I've purchase a set and install it on my New Beetle.
I've painted in dark grey:

Silver '11 Polo 1.2 TDI
Hi.
To join my '11 Golf Variant TDI (family carrier) and '05 New Beetle Cabriolet (summer companion) I had to join in an efficient (and robust) city mover. The decision was made to buy a Polo 1.2 TDI (it had 37.000km on the clock, 1 and half year old).
Could be happier. The fuel consumption is ...

Re: New Polo GTI on order
I've also moved from SEAT to VW.
Kinda miss the sporty aesthetics of a SEAT... Still on the path of adding sporty touches on my VWs (Golf Variant and Polo).
The problems you had on the SEAT, and since it shares the same mechanics as a VW, would not return with the Polo?
Cheers!

Re: New Member - New Polo: 3dr reflex silver
franko247g,
Can you please share the ET (offset) of your new wheels?
Aren't the TT RS wheels 5x112? Probably you got the A1 (which are 5x100), but the ET from those ones are wrong for the Polo...
Thanks for your help!
Cheers!
