Re: 6C SEL - Rear Speakers

Try and press and hold the power button on the stereo unit until it turns off and the Welcome to Volkswagen screen appears. I'm having huge issues with the speakers in my car at the moment. VW replaced a "broken" speaker in one of the door cards which I hadn't even noticed as being "b...

Re: Standrd 1.8t suspension question - Advice please!

Joules, what did you do to sort this out? I also drive a 1.9 TDI which I believe shares the same setup as the GTI and too find the ride to be very harsh and skittish. I can't drive over a speed bump at over 7/8mph :(

It doesn't have a MDI port like the 6R and Golfs - just a USB port, so you can use your standard cable :)

I will certainly post up my results once fully installed :) I am still waiting for a HID kit to arrive and a Pin connector release tool and I'm good to go! I purchased these lights from eBay, they are the same ones that JayW purchased earlier in your thread from link however the headlights wouldn't ...

Hello Ciclo, I hope you're well, I'd firstly like to thank you for all of your help with your guides and helping me waste my money on mods lol :D I was wondering if you could help me, I have purchased a set of replica 6R Bi-Xenon headlights which I trial fitted to my 6C. They work perfectly except t...

*SOLD* For Sale: RNS315 - Full UK and Western Europe maps

Hi guys, Due to me upgrading from a 6R to the facelift Polo I no longer need this sat nav unit. I've pulled the description from my eBay listing. I have it up for £300 but I'm willing to accept £285 for forum members. Collection is also available if local to the Manchester area. eBay listing: http:/...

Re: 9W7 bluetooth troubles!

Sorry I've just checked your build thread and seen you actually have the RNS 310 not the RCD 310 - the red wire needs to be connected to a power source, ignition switch may be a good place for this since it will turn on and off with the car. The brown wire needs to be grounded and the two orange cab...

I'm unaware of the RCD310 supporting VW Bluetooth hence why the 6R's came with the VW Touch Phone Kit :?

Re: My BlueGT finally here!

I love the Silk Blue, and there's nothing better than driving a new car from inside the showroom :D

I believe the part numbers for the pedal set are below (Thanks Ciclo)

Accelerator: 5Q2721647A
Brake: 5Q0721131A (DSG: 5Q0723131A)
Clutch: 5Q0721601A

I purchased these and they seem to work ok :)

Re: Strange scratches discovered on A pillar

Showed it to the dealer this afternoon and, predictably, they said there was nothing to worry about. To be fair, the scratches aren't visible at all in natural sunlight, but you can feel them with your finger nails. What made me laugh the most was when one technician said that once the sun comes ou...

Re: TheFrog's Blue GT 6C

I have Dynamatted the boot, rear bench and under the bonnet so far, but I'm a bit wary about dismantling the doors. Dynamat definitely works, but it's often difficult to reassemble the door cards as well as they were in the factory, and you end up with broken clips and unwanted rattles. I have Dyna...
