Re: Black 2011 Polo 6r

Those RS4 alloys are the best choice without a doubt. Really do set the Polo off.

I don't have the Nav fitted which obviously explains why I can't get that function. Obvious when you think about it.

Re: New alloys, help me choose!

With Nimbus Grey you may wish to consider 17" RS4s of the 7 spoke variety. You will see similar on some Audi A3 S-Lines. These add a less aggressive but classier look to the Polo.

Re: Polo BlueGT 3 months and 2500 miles

UPDATE: I have just covered the 4500 mile mark. The performance seems improved since my last update and settled to 48 mpg. I did try 5 tanks of super unleaded which improved economy by 1 to 2 mpg. Super unleaded didn't have any impact on performance though. Disappointingly, a rattle has developed wi...

Re: Polo R Line info required

I came out of a mark 6 GTi into a Polo BlueGT. Whilst noticeably less powerful, the BlueGT is still quick. I would reckon its the handling of the GTi you will miss as much as the power reduction.

Re: Polo 6R sill protectors looking for recommendations....

You can buy clear sill covers which do cover more of the sill opening. However, they do get dirty very quickly so you will find yourself cleaning them constantly. You may prefer these as you can hardly tell that they are in place.

Mud Flaps for GTi, BlueGT and R-line

When I ordered my BlueGT I asked for a set of mud flaps as part of my options list. The dealer informed me that mud flaps were not available on BlueGT, GTi or R-line models due to them having side skirts. While looking on eBay earlier today I note a white 2013 GTi for sale with a full set of mud fla...

Re: Wife's new Polo Blue GT arrives (Long post - Pic heavy)

they have indeed Alex. Fitted them last night (took about 20 minutes top - no tools required) - Genuine VAG parts. Brake pedal cover just pulls over and the new one slip son instead (using a few drops of washing up liquid helps). the accelerator pedal just slips over the existing one. Nothing too h...
