I just received that exact ebay buy today in the post. Have a few things to do to the car but am going to look at fitting them tomorrow. The one thing I'm unsure about is whether the standard brake line will screw straight into the new calipers. And I hope the standard 16" wheels fit over them ...

Ended up sticking a K&N cone in. Had it straight on the MAF to start with and it sounded clesss, but put a 90deg bend in it there today to put it into the original air box so it gets a cold air feed, not as much oooossht though.

That's a top idea. I've ended up just buying a new unit, pricy but do a proper job. Might remove the bulbs that did the damage, not worth happening again. 130W rally bulbs, would cook your dinner. Get some honeycombs in at the same time sure

Hi, I need new brakes and there happens to be a set of passat callipers on our garage floor. Has anyone here fitted larger brakes before? If its at all possible, I take it they need an adapter but are there any aftermarket ones? I could try and get a set of adapters made in work.. They need new disc...

Anyone here replaced a headlight before? Replica or genuine? I had a very bad day... Thought I would clear out some condensation that had built up in the headlight by leaving them on in the drive while washing it, thought putting the towel over it would help it warm up on a cold evening... it melted...
