Possible Gearbox issue, ideas?
Hi guys,
Today whilst driving along I came to a set of red lights and stopped as normal, I then went to go when they went green and found that I had no gears whatsoever. All of them gone. After wiggling the gear stick for a while I managed to find second gear which was located where first gear is ...

"hiccup" in third...
Hey,
Sorry for posting twice in advanced but I figured I should since it's two separate issues.
While I am accelerating in third gear I can feel the car sort of well.. hiccup... It's as if it is misfiring or something? but the car continues on as normal so I'm not sure how to pin point the cause ...

Fog Light bulbs melted but no blown fuse?
Hi there,
Excuse my lack of electrical knowledge but I thought that before a bulb blows the fuse does?
Anyway I might be wrong on that but I've installed an aftermarket Fog Light kit on my Volkswagen Polo 2010. The wiring contains a small black box with two cables for the battery with a fuse on ...

Re: Volkswagen Polo Upgrades!
It's been quite a while since I last updated this but here goes...
I decided that instead of going through the dodgy route of xenons I got a pair of super white bulbs, which not only looks better but are much more practical than the factory ones.
I also got the 16" Alloys on the car with Volkswagen ...

Re: Rightclick on a 6R.
I too would also like to get the answer for this. I've looked at RightClick systems for ages but I've never been sure on buying one.
I've been looking at this one: http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=1152 but I don't know how easy it is to install and move the ...

Rightclick on a 6R.
I've looked absolutely everywhere I can online and I cannot get even a snippet of a guide on how to install a remote central locking RightClick kit into a 6R Polo. There is a guide on here but the instructions only go up until the previous model (02' +) which I'm not sure if thats any good or not ...

Re: Installing a Turbo...?
Im afraid you cannot just 'install' a turbocharger
Youll need an intercooler, a whole host of other bits, a remap, new exhaust. the list is quite long
Your best to just sell up, and buy a faster polo!
Ah I see it was a weird question anyway I kinda knew it would require a lot more than simply ...

Installing a Turbo...?
Alright I was wondering, and I'm pretty sure I'm about to sound like a massive idiot...
But is it possible to install a turbocharger on a 10' Plate VW Polo S 1.2?
If it is how much of a difference will it really make?
Also if it is possible and I think it's worth it then where should I get one ...

Re: Volkswagen Polo Upgrades!
Hmm well I got that Rclick kit and I got the key cut to match mine for £5. Now my problem is getting the fit kitted and the transponder swapped. A local garage electrician said he would do it for £150, think its worth it? Thanks!

The transponder chip is the small clear pill like object on the bottom of your pic :D
Well that shows how much I know haha! So basically do I just take that out and put it in the new one? Also any idea where the central locking kit should be installed? Thanks for your help! :D
No worries! No ...
