Re: VW on-line order tracker
It worked well for me when I ordered my recent Golf. The fact yours still says its with the factory means its waiting on a build date. This won't change until you are given a confirmed date. I don't know how long the Polo's are taking from order to delivery but my GTD was taking anything up to 24 we...

Re: Fitting/Upgrading to remote central locking?
I bought this kit http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=1152 and had an auto electrician fit it for £80. He had a hell of a time at first as he didn't twig you needed a resistor. But once that had been worked out it was straight forward. You can get the key cut and just u...

Re: Reverse camera and monitor installation instructions?
I'd be more inclined to fit the OEM rear view camera if I was going to all that bother depending obviously on what head unit you have just now. I'm not sure if there is a guide on here but there is one for the MK5 Golf here http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,10027.0.html that should b...

Sorry I had totally forgot about this.
Cheers Ed, the guide seems easy enough to follow but what plug and what cluster plug?

Re: Hill hold assist
I don't like it. If you want to reverse into a parking space on a hill, you actually have to select reverse and bring up the clutch before it will go downhill. Then you immediately have to brake, as the car is going too fast. I guess there is a way around it.....l will have to practise. Technology ...

Re: Polo 6R Stalk set Trip Computer
Ed I'll take this if it will work with my daughters Polo 6R 2012 and you give me a rough idea on how to fit it before I buy it. Just to see if I will be able to do it or if its destined to end up just sitting in my toolbox for a few years!

I have a 6R stalk for sale
Cheers Eddie. Yes I could be interested in this depending on how easy it is to do.
Where's the best place to look for the cluster number?
Cheers

Re: Re: Car shaking at idle
Was it redex? If it was i tried that when it first started in about november, i thought it helped at first so left it at idle for 5 minutes or so and then it started again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It was Forte like I said above. Much better than redex. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

Trip computer
Is there anyway I can find out if our 12 plate Polo has the ability to have the stalk with the function button added and therefore give us the info on the DIS? Do all 6r Polos have this built in but just don't have the stalk to actually access it? I have a vag.com lead as no doubt it would need code...

Re: Car shaking at idle
My daughters 12 plate does this also.
I put some Forte fuel additive in it and it does seemed to have helped it. Although its only done about 10 miles since I added it so a bit early to say if its cured it.
