On my 2015 BGT DSG i find that going uphill it changes a bit quicker than normal and on decline it holds the revs longer before changing but on the overall i'd say its gear changing is good.
However before i owned my BGT i had a 2013 DSG polo 1.4 and i found that the car would be in D7 by 40mph but ...

10000 is oil change 20000 is oil and pollen 30000 is oil 40000 is oil pollen air fuel/sparks

Once you've selected the station you have to press the return button in the top right hand corner.

Yeah if you cut the resonator out it makes it a bit better but its not the same effect as an obvious exhaust system.

It was through the dealer i work next to so i got them at cost

Just popped on the Chrome Exhaust Trims (6R0 253 825) and they look really nice Paid £30 for them.
Will get a picture of them when its not god damn raining!

I can answer I few

The display shows
Speed,mpg,fuel range,time traveling. also within the stereo it has the think blue feature which can tell you average mpg from last fuel and mpg from start.
I don't think you can change the speed from mph to kph.

She's here when i first looked at her it was a quick glance but when taking it all in was when i noticed i have front fog lights even though i've ordered the Bi-Xenon headlights

I too have noticed the jerky take off with the stop start on the DSG box and also sometimes when you pull away from a junction a little quicker than normal it does it too.
Also have you tried using the tiptronic buttons when driving under load ? i found from second to third it made the TCS light ...
