Water collecting in door sills

Hey guys,

Is it normal to see a bit of water collecting at the bottom of the door sills?

I had this problem earlier in the year but didn't think too much about it at the time. Over the summer there was rarely a problem.

I then fitted genuine VW door still trims (part no. 6R3071303), spending ages ...

Re: New GTI

Cheers for the quick replies. I noticed it today for the first time but I'm sure it wasn't like that when I got the car. Its not a big deal but its just one of those little niggly things I suppose. I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

Regarding seeing yellow number plate in rear view camera all of a ...

Re: Polo Touch screen radio issues

I've not noticed this yet but it's not been that cold yet since I picked up my car. I do get the occasional loud speaker 'pop' when I start my car, so if this update fixes that at the same time then it will be worth getting for me. :)

Re: Polo 6C 1.2 TSI Recalls..

I contacted Volkswagen UK customer service on this matter and they told me that there are no outstanding recalls on my car which was built in early 2015. They also said they are unable to comment on recall campaigns which are applicable to vehicles in other markets as those vehicles may be of ...

Noisy air conditioning

Hey guys,

I have the climatronic air conditioning on my new Polo 6C. I've noticed that when there's no road noise (i.e. when stationary or in very slow moving traffic), if I have the air conditioning set to "LOW" then I can hear a variable whooshing / whistling noise from the air vents, a little ...

Re: Car washing kits..

If you go for the Nilfisk have a look out for the Auto Nozzle, item number 6411136. I think it's meant to create more of a fan effect compared to the 'turbo' nozzles that you get as standard.

I have the stuff in the combo kit mentioned earlier (bought separately) but not had chance to try it all ...

Thanks for the replies. It looks like that's standard then and the Kumho saves them a bit of money!

6C Spare tyre

Hey guys,

I finally picked up my 1.2 TSI at the weekend! The 17" Mirabeau wheels look great, as does the whole car! Love it! Pity about the awful weather since I collected my car.

Anyway, I was expecting to have a full size spare wheel as I'm sure I saw that in the brochure. I suppose it doesn't ...

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?

I got a notification from my dealer today that my build week has reduced from week 16 to week 8. This is for a 3 door 1.2 ordered on 18th October. I think I will still be lucky if I get my car within 6 months of the order date at this rate!

Hope you all get the December / January deliveries that ...

Re: Factory 6C LED headlights/DRLs now available?!

I'm waiting on an order for a SEL and I asked my dealer who wasn't able to confirm it but said they thought I was likely to receive the upgraded specification. The new changes came in week 45 apparently and my build week is set at 16 so far.

If you check the website you will see the Driver Alert ...

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?

I'm waiting on my order for a 3 door 1.2TSI SEL in Blue Silk!

I ordered mid October and although I don't have a build week confirmed on the tracker my dealer told me I'm currently scheduled for week 16.

It does seem rather a long delay though, if it stays at week 16 it will be just a few days ...

New 1.2 TSI's, still using oil?

Hey guys,

After much car shopping and test driving, I've finally decided on getting a 1.2 TSI 110 SEL, '64 plate. Are the newer engines still consuming a lot of oil?
