Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
Are any of you thinking of changing the interior lights to LEDs?
Also, do you guys find the reflection of the light switch in window distracting when looking in the mirror?

Thanks for the info about the wipers everyone, prime example of the resourcefulness of this site!

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
@vc-10 - Yes they are, although the two main lights parts are dimly lit at the ends. Where the DRLs in the other specs (next to the fog bulb), there is just an empty housing which acts as a reflector.

Those busier ones look bloody horrible, original Lyons are much nicer!

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
@Doc_House - Those Knight alloys look so damn good, wish they had those for the SEL. Really like the blue as well, saw a few at the dealership today in that colour so it looks popular. Congrats.

Re: Retrofitting Emblem Camera to Polo 6C
Yeah, that would explain the price difference. I thought the badge/handle version was the normal one as I hadn't seen any others.
For those wondering, this video shows the factory installed camera is under the edge of the license plate area on a 6C, as mentioned Mart!n-GTI-DK.

Jamesbluegt & markc123 - Great pictures guys!
Regarding washing, a good touchless wash solution I've been using is Magifoam by Autobrite. I use it as stage 2 (pre-wash) of my whole routine (around 10 steps), but leaving it on for 10 minutes will get a lot of dirt off the car.

Re: Retrofitting Emblem Camera to Polo 6C
I'm not so knowledgeable in this department but isn't €399 (£309) quite expensive for this, considering the factory option is around €310 (£240). Would sourcing the parts direct (if possible) from VW be cheaper?
I only ask as I was considering this option but didn't add it to my order in the end ...

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
Random/stupid question for those who have also financed their cars...
I've been sent my documents to sign (I live far away from the dealer) and am slightly confused about where on the VW Finance agreement form (page 1) where you sign, it asks below for signatures by a witness. Can I confirm that ...

Now that's cool, never have I seen a dealer do that.
