Re: Polo match 1.4 tdi mirror indicators

They are all LED but perhaps you ordered a 6R version for your 6C?

Visit a good mechanic. Turbo problems are difficult to diagnose without proper knowledge and tools.

Re: Electrical fault red warning light

sounds like either a bad fuse/ground connection or a faulty BCM. the electric system of the 6c0 platform is in cases a bit fragile. super difficult to say what it is.

Re: Steering rack upgrade from PR-1N2 to PR-1N4

I'm okay with using this topic, the info is relevant to both 6R/6C and 9N/3 cars since the front axle is very similar. Just note you're doing it on a 9N3 in your post please. Looking forward to your contributions.

Yep those pins are indeed correct for any MQB car. Will you also do the heated washer nozzles?

Re: Rear axel set up looks strange.

i got a theory, the calliper mount on original axle on drivers right was bent cheapest repair was to get these drop plates for a second mounting instead of a replacement rear axle (rear axle body may not be repaired) and a damper was either leaking and replaced (but only one, i think you should do t...

Re: Xenon retrofit BMT

Well, this is a bit awkward but okay, I'll confess. I've been doing retrofits for quite a while now and some people stood up as active members or even companies to provide either wirings or retrofitting as a service. Or a combination of both. Our tactics has always been to scare the user a bit with ...

Re: 12V inside door cards when light are on

I had a few customers that suffered from buzzing sounds on the inverter and flickering of the other interior lights. If you just put an led it should be fine. If it's a led with a power supply or inverter you might run into trouble.

Re: 12V inside door cards when light are on

on the front you could use the illumination of the window/mirror switch. i'm not sure it's a very good way of powering LEDs with a power supply.
a better way would perhaps be to route the 58 signal from the dimmer input via a new wire.

Re: Fog light wires thickness and power rating

I'd be tempted to say no, since it's not just about wire thickness but also thermal capacity of the housing. Don't do it.
