I'll have to back up what Tahrey1043 said. Mines had 14 years and 125000 miles on the original clutch that isn't too bad! (unfortunately it's just died in a big way tho :cry: )

Could you tell me the model/part number of those front speakers please? I was looking at some Blaupunkts of similar size but something that I know fits would be much better :)

I did look at the back of the head unit today but none of the wire colours seemed to match those in the wiring diagram. The rear lights/hrw etc runs (I think) along the left hand side of the car. It exits just above the seatbelt mounting in the boot.

Rear speaker wiring

I have a very early (1990 built) Mk3 CL Coupe, I'm assuming rear speakers were an optional fit when new as there are mounting points in my car but does anyone know weather the wiring will be in place already? I can't find it and I'm not too keen on having to add my own wires unless It's really ...
