Symptoms - Misfire. smell of petrol in exhaust + light on dash (emmissions). VW assist diagnosed coilpack on No 1 cylinder with VAG computer and replaced on the spot.
Dealer has agreed to replace other two shortly.
Good service but still worrying - car is only 9 months old and has only just had ...

Our 1.2 55BHP blew its first coilpack today! Is this a major problem with polos I know it is (was?) with 1.8 Golfs etc.

Well this forum hosts the UKMkivs Golf forum while its down, I use it and then go out and buy a nice new Polo!
