Polo Mk2 Exhaust rear mounts (rubber O rings) required....

Can anyone give me a link to where I can get new O rings for the back of a Mk2 Polo Breadvan/Squareback. The ones on my car are on their last legs and I've looked everywhere - just can't seem to get the right ones to fit (normally too small/thin)

I've seen these on ebay (link below)

Replacement rocker cover....

My Mk2 polo squareback rocker cover is seriously rusty and am looking to replace it. Anyone know of anywhere that sells new ones or where I could get a decent 2nd hand one from? Looked on ebay but it's getting SERIOUSLY hard to source parts these days. My ride's 21 next month and still going strong ...

Need help with damage to car...

Even though my breadvan is in v.good condition for its age and will last another 5 years AT LEAST they've valued it at a measly £180 and it looks like they're marking it uneconomical for repair due to its age (complete and utter..... seeing as the damage is merely cosmetic! There is no damage what ...

My car's been hit! Need lexus style lights!

Someone reversed their automatic into the rear of my car y'day - The damage is over the drivers side rear wheel arch. It has also smashed (totally) one of my rear lexus style clear lights. I got off lightly (hopefully!) Two other cars parked up nearby where totalled!

He has accepted liability ...

Urgent help required with regards to distributor......

My car is off the road (as of yesterday) due to a knackered distributor. Has anyone got a spare lying around that will fit? Have checked the local scrappies and had a look on ebay but no joy....

My car is a Mk2 (G Reg) Polo squareback. I think it's a 1.1 (either a 1.1 or 1.0 anyway)

The only ones ...

Sounds like a wiring problem to me. I'd check the circuit board behind the dashboard for any damage - the circuit (or tracks) are stuck on a flimsy piece of plastic which attaches to the back of the clocks. Could somehow have been damaged. That's all I can think of anyway. Is the temperature gauge ...

Seat covers for inside my car.. what colour?

There are some good ones on ebay - don't like them waterproof looking ones which all the VW ones appear to be!

How about something like this:

No worries.. I take on board what people say. I actually put those covers on shortly after taking the first lot of photos - about 2 years ago (just never got round to taking any more pictures since then) They're the 2006 world cup car covers. I've been toying with the idea of replacing them for a ...

Hello and welcome.....

You mentioned that you might be buying a new front grill? If you're dead set on a new part then that's fine but if you want a decent second hand one (I know it's decent as it was off my car - I replaced it with a grill with the spot lights in) contact me via email. You could ...

Door speakers on MK2 polo squareback...

Ideally I'd like to put some speakers in my car doors but am at a bit of a loss as to how I can fit them. I have a 'bog standard' polo squareback (not the POLO C) hence it has no electrics in the doors and the door cards don't appear to be very speaker friendly! What I was wondering was.....

I saw ...

Welcome Rob. I've got a squareback mk2 in a sort of 'Dolphin' grey colour. With the bodywork you'll probably find that once sanded down you hit metal (unlike Fords where you sand and it goes to a hole!) These cars are built like little tanks.

I'm waiting for the nice weather so I can install ...

Thanks for posting this guys....

I've got a central locking kit for my squareback Mk2 that I'll probably fit this year. Since it doesn't have electrics in the door already I was sort of scratching my head a bit with regards to how I was going to do this. This seems a good way of doing it.

I might ...
