Re: New GTI
Thx, I used Menzerna final finish 3800 on a black hex logic pad. A very light combo but was enough to get rid of swirls and leave a great finish. Topped it with R222 carnauba wax

Re: New GTI
Hi all, just reading last posts about keeping black swirl free. Gave my flash red a dull decon and machine polish this week. It's better than when was new, dealers swirls etc. Really like the car after the long wait and few interior rattles early on. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170422/c5c649a...

Re: New GTI
Yeah true resale time it could be useful. If I was looking for a used example though wouldn't let the fact it had or hadn't got sport button sway me one way or another.

Re: New GTI
After owning mine since October 2015 I wouldn't bother with the sport button in my opinion. I've used it on occasion and it's fun but find myself using normal mode 99% of the time.

Re: RE: Re: New GTI
Surprised it had not been better prepped by the dealer. At least your dealer didn't leave you some small scratches and also tonnes of swirl marks! VW 'detailers' are absolute s**t. Always hammer home to em under no circumstances are they to wash it. Even put post it note on my steering wheel tellin...

Re: RE: Re: New GTI
It's the control unit for the battery as apparantly it's recalled on all Polo's and if not done the battery can lose charge. That's what I was told. I have my first service video on my youtube channel "Gassed up" or just search polo gti 2016 and find me that way Hi Joe, I commented on ur ...
