where to get an ACC Switched +ve

Right I've scanned the previous posts and found not a lot.

At the moment my headunit has bullets on the power ...

ah I'm getting you now, I knew what the lead was but wasn't sure about the "arping" bit. I think maybe what the VW Care person meant was "arcing"neg the spark was arcing between the lead and another part of the engine/car somewhere it shouldn't have been.

short shift kit

is there a short shift kit out there that will fit my 1.9d, I'm used to the change in my R32 and I'm struggling to tell when this car is in gear. Well not struggling but I have to double check when I put the car into neutral. It feels slack as a bag of bolts, like stirring porridge.

All help ...

Does the glow plug light on yours come on before you start her everytime? Mine doesn't come on if the engine is warm ...

oh yeah one thing I've noticed that is strange is some severe vibration at idle, disapears as soon as the revs start to rise.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Is it an engine mount?

Hello, newbie here........well sort of

hey all, first time I've been here for over a year. Joined up when UK-Mkivs was getting upgraded but now I'm the proud owner of a 96 (P) Polo cl 1.9 D 5 door.

Got it really as a run about for the commute to work etc, trying to keep the miles off the R32.

Picked it up on the 27th December and am ...
