steering noise

has anyone encountered a loud noise coming from the steering collum when you just turn the wheel from being straight. :? it only happens once until you go back the other way. i have removed the plastic suround underneath the clocks but it still remains. is there any bearing in the collum that might ...

what is the best way of finding out if it is soldered or non-soldered. is the case any diff. or do i have to look inside.

exhaust heat shield

hi
i need to know where i can get a new heat shield from as the bloke from the garage has told me that its hanging on with two clips and is laying on the exhaust. if i can get one and do it myself it will be alot cheaper as i have just payed for a new clutch.
