Collect mine on Friday morning, Had a little look at it earlier when signing of the documents, Friday can't come quick enough now

Picking mine up at the very start of October, literally counting down the days now, no doubt be the slowest 3 weeks going. Everyones pictures and impressions seem very good so far

Some really long waits here for the GTI. I ordered mid May and arrives at the dealer early next week. That's manual box in 3 door.
Can't wait to get my hands on it now, but will still wait till September for new plates

That's correct, think my status on VW status changed mid week as well, so must of been built early that week. I ordered from Ashford, gave me a great price that I couldn't say no too! Pretty much all the packs on it etc.

My GTI has been built and should be at the dealer in a few weeks time. Excellent pictures too from everyone! Really can't wait to get my hands on it.
Anyone planning to take it to the track at all?

This shall also be interesting as mine is being built on the same date, so be good to see if dealer predictions are correct. Mine reckons 5 weeks from build date to being ready to take home. Though I don't want to take mine till end of September mind to let lease finish on the UP! so no rush! Cannot ...

Got my build date the other day for 27th July after ordering on 19th May. Hopefully have it by the start of September, which is quite good seeing as I was originally quoted November at earliest!

Wow, wait times are really seeming to get longer and longer. Was hoping end of July for a build date but it's anyones guess now as to when!

Very jealous of all these new GTI's everyone is receiving!
Hopefully get my build date within the next few weeks as ordered mid May.

The Pearl Black is great but definatley agree it gets filthy very quickly, keep on top of it and it will always look great

Make sure your bluetooth has connected fully, on Iphone, the bluetooth symbol flashes, not too sure what it is on HTC.
Also found in my UP that if theres obstructions between my phone and screen it tends to fade out and lose connection ...

Unfortunately am too new to reply to pm messages. But have had a few ask how much I paid in total for my spec.
I used the Carwow site, very easy and has genuine dealer offers.
In total my spec came too £18,238 which I was pleased about

Put my order down in the end!

Dealership looking at a 4-5 month wait, which in ways is good as allows me to save for finance and pay off and get rid of the UP!

The Silk Blue is a great colour, looks great in the flesh, especially on the GT, not too sure about it on the GTI mind.

After seeing a few more pictures of it in Pearl Black I've certainly fallen for it more, gives it a much more aggressive look I think :P
