Nah, the headgasket has just gone, that was the cause of the water pump leaking and eventually failing. My waterpump and heagasket are only 5,000 miles old, I am not a happy bunny. For the third year running I've had a car booked on the UK-P stand at expo, for the third year running my car has died ...

It's most probably the autochoke which has been pretty much explained above. If the autochoke valve is still functioning correctly then you may have some blocked jets or general s**t in the float chambers or arteries/venturies. Curse it, my water pump's leaking
Hello.
My water pump is leaking on my mk2. I suppose I'll have to change it.
How gay.
It's one thing to another with this car.

Twin down pipe, (3F) GT box on to MH engine
Hello. I've just been thinking about some comments made on my car. The car would run better using the twin down pipe found on the earlier LX models. I was really interested in using the manifold and twin down pipe from my old LX but it would not fit around the ARB. No problem, change the ARB, it won...

Squeling rear drums
Hello. I'm hoping that someone might have experienced this before. The rear drums are squeling big time, it feels as if the handbrake is sticking. The handbrake cable adjusting thread under the lever was pushed through, so I tightened that, the handbrake lever is nice and tight and the thread is now...
