Headlights ?
Evening all, my little grey slug has suffered a mishap ! I changed the sidelight bulbs recently and must not have put the one in the drivers side back in its holder correctly, anyway it has come unstuck, melted the little socket that it sits in and now won't stay in place ! Question is, does anyone ...

Re: Rightclick on a 6R.
Just a little update on these kits, just installed one on my 2013 6r polo, you need to use the negative pulse outputs on the box, white and white black locking wires from the unit, yellow and black wires to earth, the battery live is the red/yellow wire, and the locking wire on the car is the solid ...

Re: Central locking kit
Right, I have the rclick kit, had the keys cut, which was a mission itself, moved the transponders over, keys are working locks and starting car fine now, just need to install the kit tomoro, just been reading through the kit and it also has window closure too, couple of questions, I had a quick loo...

Re: Engine transplants ?
Yeah I was definitely keeping it transverse ! if the golf 20v turbo motor has been transplanted enough times then maybe that's the route I will have to take instead, the 2.3 v5 may still be a viable swap though, anyone got info on the turbo motor transplants ?

Nothing wrong with the engine that's in, just fancy a change and I don't like turbo'sLizard Racing wrote:Why put a heavy, 20+ year old, 5 speed (6 speed even heavier!), inefficient engine into a 5 year old Polo you mean? Engine transplants ?
Does anyone know of or have any info on putting either the 2.3 v5 or vr6 motors into a polo 6r ? It's just a thought buzzing around the back of my mind that's all, last engine swap I did was a mk1 golf with a 2.0 16v motor and that was 15 yrs ago, I would imagine it's a bit more involved with a newe...
