Who can suggest a nice drive, i.e. country roads etc in the north east? Working night shifts in Hartlepool, feeling to go for a drive up some scenic roads one day before a shift to kill some time!

Anyone else have this type of thing. When car is started from cold, and running on choke it can be very jerky to drive at low speeds until choke comes off. At same time if I accelerate especially in 3rd gear I feel a slightly (miss) baulking sensation only once then wen car off choke runs as it ...

Okay so turns out they dont just fall off.. someones been at it! Am i right in saying these are diamond cut alloys? Probably worth a bomb.

The rattle on the passenger side seems to be the seatbelt height *thingy* but that seems to be a common one.

Has anyone changed their fog lights from the standard dingy yellow to LEDs yet?
I've ordered a set of 80W H8's as seen from another post on here, only issue is I can't figure out how to fit them! I.e, removing the plastic casing around the fog lights etc. last thing I want to do is start ripping ...

Has anyone been to VW for them to sort this squeeking on the brakes?! Mine is driving me mad, had the car 3 months but still it crops up!

is the arm rest the same as the 6r one? worried it might get in my way on a manual however i've used it everyday in the 6r due to it being dsg..
I've a manual (With Arm rest) and find that it doesn't get in the way when its pushed down as far as it can go, i find it quite good for 'relaxed ...

Has anyone else found that you can unlock your GTI from a good 100 meters away?! Bit worrying as I live down a row of terraced houses so sometimes have to park far up the road away from my front door, find myself carrying my keys to my door to avoid accidentally unlocking the car from my pocket ...
