Yep I used carwow/drivethedeal etc to get the best prices, then took them to the local dealer and asked them the match. Ended up with a fair chunk off, maybe around 3K can't remember now

I'd have been well chuffed with a GT 150bhp at 20! Took me to 28 to get my GTI.

Lovely colour that, really nice looking motor. The Serron alloys look sharp too. Personally I still prefer the standard ones though. Fairly unique car though, not many in that colour and probably even fewer with those alloys.

Yep I've got the years free insurance from VW, and yes it is called a Bluemotion on my insurance docs. I was surprised too, they said it was due to the stop/start. It also has the "Think Blue" stuff that tells you how economically you're driving, suffice to say I never have that on!

I have just had my dash changed for the sticking Trip button seems ok now but the rear brakes still make squeaks which I have been back twice so it will need to be back at the garage. Has anyone had any look with this issue and had it fixed. I saw a white one last week on the Isle of Wight not many...
