Usually after 2 or 3 days we-connect seems to do that.
Not sure if new VW app does the same.

Code of gearbox should be in your manual
First page sticker, or in the boot next to your sparewheel

The app does show them.
Not sure if they were displayed in the satnav

Usually takes a day to restore the connection.
Try tomorrow.
You could also reset the Systems, by holding the on/off for 10-15 sec untill system reboots.

Worked for me a few times

A full scan would be more usefull

In these two pictures the drivers side looks off, looks like high beam is on.
These are new units?
Then try some good quality bulbs

Are you sure wiring is okay?
Do you have highbeam on both sides visible? (i.e. in front of a wall) (H4 lights I presume?)

Are your brakepads still good?
Are all the big fuses good on top of your battery?
