Re: Polo GTI 6C APR Re-Map UK
Have been reading about the new WV arteon 2.0diesel. Gearbox is 7speed, and torque is 34nm for 1750-3000rpm. Guess it is a stronger variant of a dsg that can help us at last stand up to the challenge with our manual gearbox gti owners? What about the dsg tune, is it a tune for smaller torue on lower ...

Re: VW authorised Tuners
So is there an ABT warranty in the UK? I see on their web site they list two engine codes for the 1.8 GTI a DAJA & DAJB? One has less torque? Anybody had this ABT upgrade on their GTI?
Ι am all ears on this, too 😀.Wonder wheather 29 nm makes any notable difference from standard. This is the ...

Re: 2016 GTI Oil Temperature
108 -110 is not unusual here with Greek temperatures. Also it did not alarm the dealer when I mentioned it. Said this is normal operating range. Guess they run the engines hotter with lean afr to achieve low consumptions these days.wich brings up the famous debate on thin oils at those engine ...

How much boost on gti 6c.
Recently I configured the android app called torque through my obd. Good pulls read 0,6 -0,8 bar on the virtual barometer. Are these numbers real? I am trying to see if there is accuracy on the boost readings. If this is true this has to be the cleanest installation of boost readings 😎

Re: Which Pushchair - 2016/17 POLO Gti
Recaro easy life is a very good choice for pushchair. It leaves nearly half of the boot for other staff, and it can be shoved behind drivers seat when you go for a trip

Re: Boot space in the 6C GTI
Owning the gti comes together with careful choice of buggies and luggage. That means that you buy them after you measure them to the last ...cm
. Nevertheless, bootspace is a drawback, but this cannot prevent you from buying the gti

Thanks guys
To tell you the truth I ll be glad to see some economy gains for the 4 psi increase. That fuel needle is my worst enemy when riding the car so far

35 or 39 psi
Hello gti owners
Got a tip from the dealer to keep 35 psi on all tyres, instead of 35 rear/39 front. They told me that 35/39 is only necessary when heavily loading the car. How do you feel about that? Do you have any experience on that?
Cheers

Well this is so explanatory and logical and true. It great to learn about the car from people that care more than its manufacturers. Thank a lot for the clarification !

Re: Correct oil for GTI 1800 6c?
Since the oil temperature in city driving easily exceeds 105 oC and the 5-30 is a thin oil, is there a reason to worry about oil becoming water in our warm designed Ea888? I am not so happy with the manual intervals as well and I plan on frequent changes...

Re: Clunking brakes 2016 GTI
Hello fan polo,
I experience a mechanical noise from the front axle on breaking in low speeds (parking etc). The noise comes from the centre of the axle and it is apparent on 80% of use. I haven't been to the dealer yet. If they say it is a common thing did they explain if there is a wearing factor ...

Boost and afr...the sleek way
Hello Guys!
At last my black gti arrived and I patiently am through the 1500 km cautious handling of the throttle (see manual :D ). What I am not patient about is the need for info on boost and afr. So is there a sleek way to fit those into the glorious cabin? I would like to keep it analogue ...

Re: GTI Oil Catch Can
I'm not sure you NEED it as such there are other areas a Polo needs looking at before a catch can for track use imo but they are a pretty generic product so demon tweeks or similar should do them.
Could you shread some light on these areas?
It will be nice to give some advice on reliability mods ...
