Re: My pure white Polo Gti 6c

Booked the polo in for next week as yesterday the drivers door started creaking. Every time I open or close it makes the noise. Anyone else heard anything like it?

Re: My pure white Polo Gti 6c

Being an 11 plate is that not a 6R? The number plate doesn't look personalised either? Nice car though!! :) It is a 6c, and I assume it is a personalised plate with "DUB" at the end Yes it is a personalised plate. I've had quite a few people who don't know much about volkswagen ask me if ...

Re: New GTI

What's the ride quality like in both modes? Also, whats the stereo sound like lol To me it's very bouncy in sport mode. I'm a fan of the sound it makes but sounds a lot quieter then in the videos I've seen so maybe it's just a placebo and there's no sound difference!? I definitely can't here any fa...

Re: New polo gti any alternatives to paying for sat nav?

When I click on the app connect option on my head unit (which I didn't order) it says I have to get a code at the dealership to unlock so I think it may be possible on the newer week 22 onwards head units

Re: Gap insurance

Ended up getting 3 years of return to invoice cover for just over 100 pound with a claim limit of 15000. Could of got it cheaper but was happy with the policy and what they stated it included and what it didn't include. Thanks for your help everyone.

Re: Gap insurance

If you're buying it on finance then I'd say it's worth it, though you can get it much cheaper online than through VW. If you're buying it outright with cash then it's not worth it. Out of all the things they push (alloy protection, stain guard, etc) the GAP insurance is the only thing I'd go for. Y...

Re: Gap insurance

Thanks for both of your insights onto this, the problem is, which is actually the best gap insurance to go for when it comes to a 20000 car because as far as I'm aware there's 3 different types of covers. From what I can gather, RTI or return to invoice as it's called seems to be the best bet. It's ...

Gap insurance

Was offered gap insurance by my dealership for a special price of 320! Yeah right. Told him thanks but no thanks. Have any of you guys got gap insurance on your new or used cars and do you think it's worth it? I'm in two minds weather to get it or not but will to hear people's thoughts on the matter.
