Had mine a year today Overall pretty happy, apart from the centre console rattle, which VW couldn't hear when it went in for it's service

Ask the petrol station when the pumps were last calibrated?

Mine went to "in transit" on 29th Nov last year and was ready on 14th December, although I got mine from Grimsby so didn't have to wait for a transporter for it

I have my GTI for a little over a year now. Three days ago for the first time I received a notification on the dashboard that it's 30 days until I need to change oil. Since then, during each engine start and stop I get similar notification, however number of days left seems to be randomized :o ...

No... because I hate cleaning glass

A few weeks ago I'd parked up in Tesco, right at the back of the car park no other cars near me. As I was walking to the shop another woman came and parked next to me, so I started walking back ready to move the car to another spot. She must have realised because she drove off and parked elsewhere ...

just one or two very minor rattles inside annoying me but nobody else hears them...



Seems rattles are quite common.

Just booked mine in for the first service. Mentioned the rattle that seems to be coming from the stereo area. Thought I'd sussed it the other day after taking everything out ...

Haha was it Claire? She was my best quote, but I just took it to local VW who matched the price.

Have they definitely said it will be driven? I would have thought it would be put on a small transporter/ trailer and brought to you that way?

Erm having a mental blank at the moment lol but enjoy :)

I've had a few issues ... mine's a 65 so not sure if they've been resolved now, but the trip reset button stuck on mine, so had to have a new insert fitted. This happened about 1500 miles in I think ...
