I've not driven a current model Fiesta ST, but I have a friend who had the previous model, and I'd say that the Polo GTI has a much more compliant ride than that model of ST. I suspect that the current Fiesta ST's ride is equally as firm as the previous version, so you should find the Polo GTI ...

Look into the wheel arches and youll see big foam blocks in the springs if the transport blocks are still in

I've heard it depends on spec sometimes. Not sure how accurate that is. I have a 5 door manual with almost all the options. I ordered the week before Christmas and it arrived at the dealer the last week of Feb.

What sort of fuel economy are people getting?
I can only seem to get about 36 - 38 mpg. Weird as I easily got 42 - 44 in my Mountune ST before. I'm hoping the economy improves once I've done more miles in it. Only done 500ish so far.

My first proper day with the car today and I am so pleased. About 100 miles of driving on A and B roads and the car is great. Thanks Andy. I can see myself keeping the Polo for a while. Apart from something with more power I don't know what more I could want from a car really. Looking forward to its first proper outing on the weekend

Picked my GTI up this morning. Only driven 10 miles or so back from the garage but so far very impressed with it. Build quality is in a different league to my old Fiesta ST and it feels just as quick. Really glad I went for it and haven't stopped smiling since the covers were taken off it earlier!

Erghhh, got a text and email from VW this morning about an order update and all I am waiting for is delivery to dealer. Update was a repeat of the last one... stage 6

Sheerness to the westcountry. Can't take long can it? Hoping its at the dealer for the weekend so I can go and take a sneak peak before getting it next week some time. Can't wait!!

Apparently the boat mine was on docked this morning at Sheerness. Hopefully VW Twitter are right!
