clutch cable adjuster
Hi everyone. First of all can you take a look at the attached photo and tell me if this is the clutch cable adjuster please (it's the part with the chrome threaded rod). This was fitted by the previous owner about 4 weeks ago. Now then, if it is, should that spring be so compressed? There is no play...

SUCCESS .......................woo hoo. Thanks Alex, glad to say that you were right and it was a broken wire between driver door and body. Hi Alex. Thanks, I'll give it a go tomorrow. I should have thought of that myself as I had the same problem with a Citreon that I had.
Do I slide the rubber sleeve up from the door side as the body end seems to be a plug?

driver door window switches
Hi Everyone, newbie here with a question. I have just bought my son a Polo 1.4 2001 (6N2) but it has a problem with the switches on the drivers door that control the windows. I have bought 2 new ones and fitted them into the switch holder, connected the 2 plugs and voilà........nothing!! However one...
