Might be a ailly question but how do you activate the headlight washers?
Is it an auto function or is there a button/switch?
Cheers.

Re: New GTI
I had an update that I was at 5a on 01/03. Not sure how long it normally takes to get to the dealers from this point. I have sent a Twitter message to @VWUKHelp to see if they can advise me on which ship will be transporting but nothing back yet. How long have new owners experienced from 5a to pick ...

To extend or not to extend that is the question.
So, I have a new VW Polo GTI coming in April and it's on a 4 year PCP deal. VW extended warranty is £205 I will either trade up at 3.5 years for new deal or keep and hand back at end of term. So question is would you take out the extended warranty or risk it over the 3-4 year period? Thoughts would ...

Flat Black Polo GTI
Any chance someone has a flat black GTI that you can post some pictures of as I can only find deep black (metallic) on auto trader etc. I've ordered flat black so would like to see what it looks like!!
Cheers.

Re: What's your car history?
1997 - Rover 214 SLI -spent 100's every month to keep this running but engine was cracking (as 1.4's go!) 1999 - Ford Siera 2.0 GL - 120bhp nothing these days but back in the day as a 19yr old I was the king. Prob couldn't afford to run it these days! 2000 - Fiat Seicento SPORTING - First new car. O...

Re: 0-62 acceleration Polo GTI
To be fair the 208 has been a great car. It's just not practical enough with 2 kids hence the change to 4 door with similar performance. Performance wise it's still puts s smile on my face. Never done a 0-62 timed but on paper I think it's 6.8 sec so pretty close to the Polo. Think the extra 30 ft/l...

Re: 0-62 acceleration Polo GTI
Tidy
I'm changing from a 208 GTI (need extra doors - kids!) so it's good to know the acceleration won't disappoint and with the extra torque the in gear acceleration and real world performance will be slightly improved as well.

0-62 acceleration Polo GTI
Ok, Now I know in the real world these things don't matter and its a bit of top trumps trivia but ...........most of the reviews I've read suggest that the official time of 6.7 sec could be conservative. Have any of you done any official/unofficial runs and care to share the results? I gather there ...

Age old question!
I know this topic comes up regularly (although I have run a search and can't find it on the forum) but what is the recommended fuel rating on the new Polo GTI? And what are you guys running them on/do you notice a difference? I would assume the need to be on 98 Ron or above but as I haven't taken de...

Re: GTI boot size
Thanks for the replies. I've managed to get s buggy now that's quite small when folded down (L60, W40, H25 cms) So I think that should be fine. For the odd airport trip I can take the parcel shelf out and load on top of the buggy and use the rear foot wells too if needed so fingers crossed it'll be ...
