Hi guys got an annoying squeak every time i brake, or pull the handbrake up and down, i think its where the rear brake shoes pivot maybe, how easy is it to get the rear drums off to have a look...thanks..

cheers, looks way better than the aftermarket one i got when i bought the car, hate when people change em, and it sounds better too..

fixed now, had to join the power pin to the one next to it, as my polo had no wiring in the connector for it..

works now, yes the volume button turns it on and off..

after a lot of searching it looks like i need to loop a power wire to another pin to make it work..

k line feed? is cos i dont have a cd player bit or something...

the fuse is ok..

ive tried holding down all the buttons now, still wont turn on..

the red light flashes on the front untill you turn the ign key it then goes off, been trying for about an hour, wont come on....hmmmm

Hi guys, ive just got a standard headunit for my polo off ebay, came with code etc, ive plugged it in, a red led is flashing on the front...

question is how do you turn it on etc...ive tried holding the volume buttons down the volume etc

sounds daft, i dunno how you turn it on,.. :( to even enter ...

Hello there, after seeing your post about the high revs,

so i just took my 1.4 polo 6n1 for a test and roughly the revs are as follows,

3rd gear, at 100kph, 62mph ish..... 4500 ...

Yes i already have cleaned it with carb spray, also fitted new dizzy cap and rotor arm/plugs etc...

Fitted a new breather pipe from pcv to air filter as that was collapsed, could a blocked pcv be the problem aswell ...
