Thanks for your reply. I bought foolishly a 96-99 set thinking they were universal ( wrong )
They do not fit. My car is a Polo Gti 2000 W reg Xenon. Is this the mk 5 model ?

Was there such a thing made by Vw as headlight protectors for a 2000 W reg polo Gti Xeons .
