Hello ,
Im having a bit of trouble with my headlight washer jets not activating when i do the stalk , but it activates when i do the activation with the vcds !? Its odd ,
I hit a fox on the m26 & it damaged the ns lower part of the bumper so decided to get a new bumper which came with fog lights ...

Definately go with sachs shocks, are yours electronic dampers?
They aint cheap if they are to replace tbh.
I have the original electronic genuine vw dampers on mine & one was throwing a light on the dash when after hitting a dirty big pothole so had to buy new ones from vw . So replacing both ...

I thought that would the case SRGTD ,
I wanted to add a front splitter to my car , i saw one in a advert for selling front splitters but the splitter was on the golf mk7 /7.5 facelift so thought it would possibly be able to fit on my polo .

Hi Nora is the foam burnt & is the bolster intact ? My bolster has flattened due to gettin in & out the car , i only need the sitting on part (foam) ,

Bumping into this old post sorry :lol:
Out of curiosity would any of you guys know if the Mk7 golf gti facelift front bumper is the exact same size as the 2016 polo 1.8 gti facelift bumper ?
In pictures they look almost identical , i was thinking that the golfs one maybe slightly wider ?

Noticed my car smelt a bit fuelly the last week or so , ive checked the oil ive checked all round the engine in the usual areas but no fuel leaking or staining .
I will say though that every year at the start of the colder season this happens so im wondering whether its to do with the colder times ...

Yeah i thought that would have been the case , im normally good with stereo wiring set ups but bit old school , these newer tech wiring systems & boosters etc is sort of like relearning stereo installs all over again :o

Yeah sorry been away for a while so havnt been on here to read added comments , update to the job of waterpump replacement is that ive had no issues with the waterpump at all & i check it visually reasonably regular , 👍🏼
I’ll soon be dropping out the coolant & refresh the system with new coolant ...

I have the 2016 polo facelift , have the no signal issue for the dab , it has been like it for long time i dont think it has ever worked properly & ive had the car from brand new liturally 12miles on the clock.
I put it down to that maybe it was a commom issue with all dab tech or the digital ...

I have done this replacement on my 2016 polo 1.8 gti tsi bm,
It was a bit of a mission at some points in the proceedure, with the gti there was a reasonable amount of bits to remove to actually get to see where the bolts were on the waterpump & actually get the thing off the engine lol good thing ...
