Alright Phil,
Sorry to hear you sold the polo but opting for the audi is a choice move. Sold my GTi a while back and got a TT 180 Quattro and haven't looked back. The Polo was a great car but the build quality and effortless power of the turbo are fantastic.
Anyway enjoy.................

Have just bought an 04 plate TT 180 Quattro and the guy at Audi told me not to even ask about a trade in for the GTi as they would make me a silly offer. As a result, my wife and I now have three cars (TT, GTi and Golf TDi) until I can be bothered to sell the Polo. I'm only realistically expecting 4...

Black GTi M90 Stirling
Spotted a black GTi yesterday night about 10pm on the M90 at the Stirling turn off. You overtook me and slowed down for a look at my GTi I think. Flashed you as you went past. Anyone?

Oh no.............crashed my baby
I feel sick. Driving home after work and decided to change lanes on a slip road, looked in the mirror, checked my blind spot, indicated then pulled out. Screech then BANG. Some girl had been driving up the inside lane in the pitch black with no lights on! My door and side skirt are fooked and...

Prior to having my GTi lowered I had some problems with one of the CV joints on the driveshaft (not the end ones but the one that links the gearbox??). You can tell I'm not mechanical!! Anyway, I got a knocking and vibration when under heavy acceleration and particularly when turning right. After it...

Yokohama A539's are really good. Plenty of grip in the wet, which is useful when living in Glasgow! About £50 each fitted through www.blackcircles.com I think they cover the rest of the UK as well, and allow you to select a fitter close to home. Worth a try for other makes of tyre as well as they h...

Boot Light problems
My boot light is on permanently and have been advised by VW that it's because the rear windscreen wash hose is leaking. I seem to remember a thread about this a while back but can't find it......... :? Anyone had this problem? And is it easy to fix as I'd rather do it meself than pay VW. Cheers.....

CDA Query
Just wanted to know if the CDA for the Polo Gti is the same as the Lupo Gti and also how easy is it to fit one?
Have been reading about them on here for ages and thinking now is the time to get one (possibly from Santa if I'm a good boy!).
Cheers.
