Corroded wheel - big problem?
Just been back to where I got new tyre fitted last week, as the old was knackered. The new one wasn't holding pressure so I went back and the guy refits the tyre, and tells me "if it goes down again then it's not the tyre, it's the wheel 'cause it's all corroded anyway".

Speaker Wiring in a Mk2
Hello all,
I've posted something similar in the ICE section, but I'm looking for a more mk2 specific response.
I've just recently fitted my new head unit, and I used a brand new, colour-coded ISO connector from Halfords. Problem is, I now have no rear-left speaker, and the centre speaker now works ...

OK, head unit is in, but I think I've come across a couple of problems.
Firstly, it appears as though I have a speaker in the centre of the dash (I didn't realise it was a speaker as it didn't work with the old radio!). The problem with this is that even though I've used a brand new ISO connector ...

Ok, so my new head unit arrived today, and I'm anxious to get it put in the car.
Will I definitely need the ISO connector thing? The radio that was already in there is a Panasonic unit which I've managed to extract from the dash but the wires just confuse the hell outta me. Because it's a Panasonic ...
