i've got it down to an art the hardest but is undoing the top caps in the engine bay. vw has a tool for this but i used a mates old school bike crank tool. and make sure you use the can of wax oil that should have come with your coilys as mine rusted shut after 6 months

i say you could get 170bhp at a guess from cams, gas flowed head, throttle bodies, exhaust manifold etc and then putting the 1.6 gti crank and piston rods into it..... i have heard of 210bhp from a polo 16v engine but thats mega money

i would say if the seat backs out of shape, you must have twisted the frame so it will need replacing...... my guess is that you do more in your car then just drive it :wink: or your a large chap lol.... my dad is a big bloke and he bust a few seats in his ford that he had years back
