Re: How to replace your alarm horn

Except for autoscan fault and alarm not working you won't have more issues.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Hi everybody, I'm glad to inform you that thanks to Roman's job (rofireman) who wrote a new software specific for my car's ECU, the GRA high emulator finally works! :D

Re: How to replace your alarm horn

Have no idea about the voltages or how to test the syren outside the car.
What kind of issue do you have? Anyway I think will be easier to just replace it.

When I tried to fix mine by replacing the batteries I've spent money for nothing.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Hi guys you know the difference between 5k7955559A, 5k7955559B and 5k7955559C? Is 5k7955559C more recent so a better choice?

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Our 6Rs have an added value, and in my opinion, today it is very difficult to find a car of the dimensions of our 6Rs to move easily in any circumstance (city, surroundings or highways). You are right, my 6R is very new even though it is more than 8 years old, ... it is something premeditated, I wa...

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Thank you for your invitation Francesco, but for now I do not do any more retrofitting on the 6R, it already has too much equipment, now I only drive it around the city and surroundings without trying to achieve the fast lap with its 125 donkeys. After so many works you deserve to make some g...

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Morning guys, thank you for your suggestions. I purchased a new pedal caps set but once again quality is very bad so don't think will use them. Anyway I want to share my last project: door's courtesy lights (white) + warning lights (red). After long thinking about I found this was the best solution ...

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Hi guys, I need a suggestion please  for the second time I got from AE rubbish metal pads like which are impossible to fix properly with plastic clamps because on the rear there are a lot of holes and rubber is so fragile which break when I try to push the plastic clamps behind it. General qua...

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

For those guys who retrofitted front + rear PDC on Polo 6R, do you use a 5A or a 7.5A fuse?

Elsawin for Polo 6R talks about a 5A fuse but It consider only rear PDC.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel

Hi Francesco It is unusual for RLS to die suddenly ... It looks like the sensor was subjected to high temperatures (under the Italian sun), although there should be no problems if that were the case. In any case you will have to buy a new one from Ali (or two :)), buy the C model, we'll see how lon...
