Re: Auto headlight retrofit
I have a kufatec RLS loom which has been in for 6 months or so (although it only functions as a rain sensor currently as lights aren't going via the BCM) The first time I did a RLS retrofit (on a Passat B6) I made the loom myself but was lucky enough to gave the 10pin light switch already in that ca...

Re: Auto headlight retrofit

I don't have access to elsawin so I'm kind of in the dark :( But in answer to your question, no I haven't added any relays nor run any extra power to the BCM. could this be the door issue? Correct function of lights is as follows (i think) Off position - ...

Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Hello I'm hoping I don't get booted of here for posting this as I don't have a Polo, I have a 2013 VW Transporter T5GP. Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Do i need an 090 BCM? no the 087 BCM will not work. you need the BCM Max (7H0 937 089/090x or 6R0 937 088x or 7E0 937 089/090x). +1 ----- Hi graylscott Yes, you need a BCM Max for the automatic lights to work.... also the wiring for BCM Max adaptation. It does not make sense to code your current BC...

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
It's probably worth mentioning that my DRLs (halogen) don't work when the switch is set to the 'Auto' position, but work when it is set to '0'

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I'd try something like this, but I'm not sure what the part number of your BCM is. B0A03DBA0EE1241193284E116EAB8E55F080650F60842040320000000000 you can have a look at byte 23 bit 0, if that makes a difference, but I think it's only for BCM 7H0 937 090B/7E0... but ciclo is better in this than I am. ...
