Re: Non Start possible timing chain issue

Like most modern engines, I'm 90% sure that this one will be an interference engine, I think that your guessing is correct in as much as, if you left that car in a forward gear on a backwards sloping steep driveway, then the engine has been forced to rotate against the weak, slack and opposite dire...

Re: Rear washer hath died. RIP. Need help again.

Was just checking mine there today after I had fixed the boot handle not working

In my case the pipe to the washer was completely broken in half inside the rubber gaitor between the body and the boot lid
so when operated the boot lid filled with water :-)

Re: 1.2 6v problems needing help?

I would check the obvious things first Air filter is it in good clean condition as an old and dirty one will restrict airflow The code you are seeing is telling you that the fuel to air ratio is too high at the first oxygen sensor just after the manifold A dirty air filter or worn spark plugs would ...

Re: Show me your head unit

That’s really handy info, thanks for that mate! With what you’ve said about no power after switching off ignition - you mention in your thread that you needed to wire your head unit into the live ignition. With the can bus adapter I’ve been recommended (https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/MbqJHmNS) ap...

Re: New headunit? A bit confused...

First thing that springs to mind The link to the ebay wiring harness is a quadlock to ISO adapter The canbus adapter is also quadlock to ISO so you don't need to buy both if you get this one you will still need the fakra aerial adapter separately However the headunit you linked to from what I can se...

Re: 9N3 rear light glass replacement

Recently had my light cluster out to clean of some black residue caused by water ingress / condensation The inner circular part of the lamp cluster seemed to be glued in place as I was unable to dismantle it to give it a good clean I would take a trip to the local breakers if I were you see if you c...
