Re: RCD330 Radio Issue
Very late reply but I'm having exactly the same problem. What I've found is that the radio only works fully (all functions perfect) when it is plugged in with the car already running. Did you ever figure out the problem?

Re: Big Digital Speedo in KPH?
I did manage to work that out given there is no option for Austria. I would have assumed this would change the units to kph but it didn't. I think that if the actual analog gauge displays MPH then the rest of the cluster will only show miles. I hope there is a way to change this in VCDS but I'm rapi...

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG Bluemotion --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Would you happen to have a link to where you bought it? I'm only finding them with letters on the end of the part numbers, e.g 1j0512149b,c,g

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG Bluemotion --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Maybe I will abandon plans to lower it for now then. Going back to the Cupra rear spring seat, is it a straight swap with the standard spring seat? Also, are they the lower or upper spring mount? I assume the one on the left in that picture is the Cupra part?

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG Bluemotion --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't aware of the OEM Sports springs so I was just assuming they were for a GTI. Do you know if the sports springs are designed to be used with the original shock absorbers? Or are there OEM sports dampers available too? I can't fit any aftermarket parts, only OE...

Re: Big Digital Speedo in KPH?
I thought if your speedo was in MPH, the cluster had to show KPH by EU law? Also adding on to this thread, if I replace my MPH speedo with a KPH one, does anyone know if it will require any re-programming or is it plug and play? My MPH cluster does show a KPH digital reading, but it is the small on...

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG Bluemotion --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Hi iichel, just found this thread, I've read nearly all of it. Absolutely amazing work done to a humble Polo. Its a long way back, but I'm especially interested in your suspension that you mention on the first page. "OEM 6R sports suspension springs Koni FSD shock absorbers all around--> 2100-4...

Re: Big Digital Speedo in KPH?
Just followed those steps. Got the big digital speedo working, but it's in mph so of no use to me. Not sure if I was clear, but this is a mph cluster, with the speedo dial in mph and all units in mph. Is it possible to set the units to kph on a cluster with mph speedo?

Big Digital Speedo in KPH?
I've got a 2013 Polo 1.2 with a MPH cluster as it's a UK car which I've imported to Ireland. It's got the 'midline' MFD cluster, with no steering wheel controls, only controllable from the wiper stalk, and no settings menu. I'm currently relying on the small KPH display that replaces the odometer re...
