I’m sure I see that message several times a month and have done since 2018 when I got my first Polo. Now on my 4th and still get the same message. So that’s pre face lift. Post facelift same message! Go figure

Has a 72 plate and picked up a 24 GTI today. All fine.

But….the physical info area is the same size but the actual display graphics and Apple CarPlay take less screen area.

Have the secretly shrunk it? Now wondering if my lady one had a larger screen!

Just ordered my new GTI this morning. I’m lucky though….exactly what I want was sitting next to me inside the show room. Get it in 6 days

Update on this - did not end well!

Polo in yesterday. New steering wheel fitted.

All seemed fine.

On my way home, thankfully in slow moving traffic, all the warning signs came on (and I mean all) the car lost power and just stopped. Everything flashing. 10 error reports.

Had my polo in for first service today.
I’ve been getting an intermittent ping and warning message coming up saying ‘Travel Assist currently unavailable’. Sometimes several times on a normal short journey.

Annoying as hell.

Anyway I told VW at my service today and they said it was a known issue ...

I’ve got a 72 reg GTI so got tyres, let’s face it, not great for our roads. Had the car just over a year. Had two flats so far from potholes. Front passenger alloy slightly buckled but ok.

Very annoying and very pricey!

My 72 reg GTI came with dark inserts. Can’t stand the red, I’d just find one with the spec you want?
