My first thought too Andy - I have said whatever happens I do not want it back until the fault has been idetified and corrected.

Finally picked up my new GTi+ at the weekend - doesnt look too bad either against its big brother the Golf GTi.

Just recieved the call....

Car will be available to collect next weekend - not bad at all - 68 Weeks since ordered!!!!

The wait is nearly over.

Pleasantly surprised today to walk in to a email from my VW dealership to tell me my car was shipped yesterday and is arriving in Sheerness today..... so there may be hope Surface36.

I havent been so luck (yet) still waiting for the 5c notification but mines is going into Sheerness so guess differnt vessels...

Be interested to see what your turn around from UK to receiving your car will be.

Never thought buying a car would be this much hassle. For my first buying experience it's been horrible.

From the sound of things and bank holidays coming up I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be another month of waiting. It would be quicker to drive to Germany and pick the bloody thing up.
