Good luck with the MG. I’m also considering going hybrid for my next car before going all electric. Is the MG a self charging or plug in hybrid?
It's self charging mate, decent reviews, and only 19.25k through Carwow, happy days.

Re: Clive's new Polo

Well it's been an enjoyable four years with the Polo, but it's time to move on. I'm tired of waiting for the ID2, so I've decided to take a half-way step into a hybrid, yesterday I ordered the MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy model in Arctic White. I'll still probably go for the ID2, but not for a couple of years ...

Re: Dented my car

Definitely get it repaired, I'm sure you'll be annoyed with yourself every time you look at it if you don't, but wait a few weeks until you get fully used to parking it in your narrow garage, you'd be even more annoyed if you got it repaired next week, and then did the same thing again a week later ...

Re: New owner questions

5. This looks like access to open the tailgate from the inside. Is that right?

Yes, as well as storage for a warning triangle, it also provides access to open the tailgate from inside (place a key or screwdriver in the slot and slide it in the direction of the arrow).

Re: Is it worth to upgrade to Sat-Nav on Ready 2 Discover

I personally love a proper built-in Sat Nav, and I will always buy a car with it factory installed, but a built-in system doesn't necessarily work any better, or make the car worth any more when you come to sell it, so if you're happy with using an alternative, you might as well stick with it.

Re: Polo GTI (AW) 2020 Space Saver Wheel Question

I can't confirm whether or not that's the correct part number, but the specification of the wheel will fit your Polo.

Thanks J, just checked mine and it's ok, but as you said, it's easy enough to check it, and definitely worth looking at for peace of mind.

SRGTD wrote: Mon Apr 03, 2023 1:30 pm The YouTube video at the link below shows you how. Note that some VW fobs use a CR2032 battery and others use a CR2025.
My 2020 Polo is a 2032, so I'd say all AW Polos are a 2032.

Re: ID.2all concept

I'd definitely have one of these to replace the Polo if it actually happens, I really want to stick with VW for my next vehicle, which will be an EV, but the ID3 looks rubbish, and it costs way too much. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed the the next couple of years.

Re: Rear window Snowflake...?

When my windows mist up I see the outline of a circle on the rear glass, this is where the dealer had a sales type sticker stuck on the window, it must have left some kind of glue residue on the glass when the sticker was removed, and I can't for the life of me remove it, or even see it when it's ...
