I solved the intermittent problem on my 2002 polo by removing the instrument cluster and disconnecting the 2 ribbon cables from the cluster and reinserting them. Sorted.Note we also left the plastic near the key barel in case that makes the key go closer to the reader on the barrel. I dont think ...
