Ok thanks iichel... it's looking more and more like the easiest way is the beats system retrofit.

Also, i found a rear R-Line rear bumper with the pdc sensors for quite a good price, i suppose that the wiring can be purchased as a stand alone, correct? where do you guys source this kind of things ...

Many thanks for your detailed response iichel, maybe i should look again at the retrofitting the beats audio system as i guess it is more plug and play... i read somewhere here in the forum that the system is not that good, that it distorted a bit when pushed, but maybe it's worth another look ...
