Re: Air Con Still Seemingly Leaking Despite Repairs. Any Help?

I second that RUM4MO , fitting O rings in a tight area can be trying at best it just takes one miss aligned attempt to pinch/ nick them and your cooked. Also unless it’s a massive leak with most A/C machines the vacuum test is useless to pin point a broken o ring type leak.

On the positive side you ...

Re: 2006 Polo Dune Rear Shocks advise

Hi thanks,
Mine does still have the data stickers in the boot and front of the service book,
I’ve had a look through them using OBD11 to decode the numbers and found some referring to suspension components.

The dune has a raised ride height from factory are the shocks longer or is this all in the springs to ...

Re: Is the thermal expansion valve accessible and replaceable from the engine bay?

As you’re said you have had the evaporator replaced already I believe the expansion valve comes with the genuine unit . Which is inside the heater box behind the dashboard so the dash has been apart/out at least once before. Can you confirm this was replaced ?

Re: Start-Stop not working

Firstly I would get your current battery checked on a decent tester , one which can check the batteries SOC (state of charge) and SOH (state of health) .
You may have charged the battery to 100% SOC but if the battery is in poor condition as you stated the SOH may be down ie no reserve capacity to ...

Re: Windscreen wipers slow, then stopped working.

How long did lubricating them last , until I could order a new linkage and fit it .as said temporary fix.
As for needing a press absolutely not, the new OEM wiper linkage comes ready assembled all you have to do is remove the motor and swop it onto the new linkage its that straight forward.
