I had a 2018 Polo which behaved perfectly in relation to the various trips.

I now have a 2020 Golf Match Edition and have a similar issue It's the 1.5 TSI EVO.

When I refuel it resets, as it should. I also reset the small trip on the dash.

Then usually after around 10-25 miles ...

Never even thought I needed to do this, but definitely do!

With my non-keyless the interior lights come on when the keys are removed from the ignition. Not sure what the equivalent would be for keyless systems.

I've had this issue for the last year. 3 sets of wiper blades and still no fix.

In my case it was due to a film of rubbish on the windscreen. I tried various polishes using a DA and still nothing...

In the end I happend to have a chip which enlarged to a crack and a new windscreen solved this ...

I've also got the bungs in my tailgate too.

I've had to put just over a litre of oil in mine between pickup and first service.

Next service due in 500 miles and only down to half way on the dipstick.

There's quite a bit of knocking noise when my car is in neutral at 1000 RPM. Kinda sounds like a old diesel that's close to retirement. It goes away as soon as I raise it just a bit over 1000 RPM pushing on the throttle.
Also it will go a second or two after I press the clutch paddle.
