I had this exact problem on two seperate occasions. Turned out to be coil packs and one associated plug with a strange colour.

Just changed the timing chain on CBZB using the kit, also oil pump sprocket and chain.

Anyone know the procedure using VCDS for timing chain adaption?

My GTi+ is going in for a service mid November on 20,400 miles, the car will be 4 years old in January I asked for a DSG oil and filter change, they came back with a cost of £441.99 just for the DSG oil and filter change.
Price seems a bit high just for that.

Had this happen yesterday, GTI+. Car is 2 years old first week January, not good enough really as this has been happening for years. Should have a heatsink on it or increase in wattage.

Booked my GTI+ in for a service next week and mentioned the rear brake noise when in reverse and was told it didn't affect my model.

Anyone got any offical VW paper work with TPI numbers i can direct the dealer to.

I have the OBDELEVEN Pro, but not with me at my current location. I have a problem with the DSG. In 2,3,4 and 5th it sounds like the clutch is slipping from 1500 to 2000rpm and feels like the brake is lightly pulsing. I wanted to check the 02 Auto Trans for fault codes.

Thanks for the replies. Tried out the throttle resetting as per the video and another with slightly different procedure, didn't notice any difference. Will try out vcds tweek when my new laptop battery arrives.
